Welcome to my website on the Byrd family adventures in geocaching. Geocaching, for those of you not familiar with it, is a modern-day treasure hunt using a GPS. People hide their caches, post the coordinates on-line, and you download the coordinates and go hunting for it. All geocaches have a log book that you can sign to show that you have been there, and many caches have trinkets that the kids can trade for, and some have travel bugs which are on-line trackable items that you move from cache to cache and see where they end up.
There are geocaches all over the world, and a lot of them, too. Some you can drive right up to and some require a bit of a hike. So find one today and go have some fun!
